Disney's Aladdin Jr.

Kicking off the CCYT & FCT 2019-2020 season comes Disney’s Aladdin Jr., based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. Disney’s Aladdin Jr. features an award-winning score including the hits “A Whole New World,” “Prince Ali,” and “Friend Like Me.”

Directed by Brian Marshall and featuring Caryl Crane Youth Theatre actors ages 6-13,  Disney’s Aladdin Jr. is bound to be a one-of-a-kind experience. Four performances only: September 26 at 7:00 pm, September 27 at 7:30 pm and September 28 and 29 at 2:00 pm in the McBride Auditorium at BGSU Firelands College.
