Bookstore Community Scholarship at BGSU Firelands

Each academic year, the BGSU University Bookstore grants five $2,000 scholarships to qualified Firelands students with a demonstrated commitment to community service.  To qualify, you must:

• Be a full-time student
• Display academic success based on high school or college GPA
• Demonstrate financial need by completing the financial section of the of the scholarship application
• Possess a commitment to community service and engagement
• Intend employment in a high demand career field in North Central Ohio

Additionally, you must compose a 500-600 word essay describing your past community service efforts, how these have influenced you, and how your intended career field will enable your to give back to your community.
