BGSU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION:
Ten $250 book scholarships are available to entering freshmen and continuing students who are attending on either a full-time
or part-time basis. Sons, daughters and spouses of B.G.S.U. alumni are given special consideration for this award.
FIRELANDS CHALLENGE:
Sponsored by BGSU Firelands in recognition of the academic accomplishments of the high school teams that place first, second
and third in the Annual Firelands Challenge competition, one $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a graduate of each of the three
winning high schools.
BGSU FIRELANDS FACULTY AND STAFF:
This award is available to any full or part-time student with demonstrated financial need. The value of this award is variable.
HOLIDAY CHALLENGE:
Sponsored by BGSU Firelands, one $500 scholarship is awarded to the graduate of the high school that wins the annual Holiday
Challenge Tournament.
FIRELANDS ADVISORY BOARD SCHOLARSHIP:
This $1,000 scholarship, made by the Director of Admission, is awarded to a graduating senior who has at least a 3.5 GPA and
an ACT composite score of 25. Community and/or school activities will also be considered.
STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD:
This variable award is available to students with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better in college or a "B" average
or better in high school. Financial need will also be considered.
