Women's Resource Group

Our Mission

The Women's Resource Group provides a place for discussion among all students regarding issues that affect men and women, but which most uniquely affect women. Regular meetings are held with topics which include:

• Self-esteem
• Food / Eating
• Body / Image
• Domestic Violence
• Poverty and Education
• Strategies for Self-Empowerment
• Other Violence Against Individuals & Communities

As our membership expands we have plans to bring speakers and programs to the BGSU Firelands campus to address issues, educate members, and present on topics relevant to women's issues.

Meetings

WRG will be meeting weekly during the spring semester, beginning January 11 through April 25 (excluding March 7 for spring break):
