About Mr. Martin P. Henning, III
Pete Henning is an Associate Professor of Applied Sciences in the Department of Applied Sciences at BGSU Firelands College. He has also served as Industry Liaison for the Office for Educational Outreach since 1994.
Pete earned his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters in Sanitary/Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Pete’s experiences include serving as an Environmental Engineer for the U.S. Army and as a professional consultant in water and wastewater treatment and management.
A strong believer in the impact of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Plus, and ISO 9000:2001 concepts on business processes, Pete has conducted customized training for numerous area companies, including Calphalon, Certain Teed, Epic Technologies, Federal Reserve Bank, Gyrus-ACMI, Lear/O’Sullivan, and Denton ATS/Applied Safety Technologies.
