Sandusky’s Underground Railroad

Hear Susan Shultz, sculptor of “Path to Freedom”, explain what it took to get this project from the drawing board to the final installation at Facer Park. Participants will take the trolley to view important points in the history of the Underground Railroad in Sandusky. You will also learn about area citizens who risked everything to help slaves escape to freedom. Admission fee for museum: $3.00 (please bring cash).

“Breath of Spring” Grapevine Wreath

Shake off the winter blahs by creating a grapevine wreath to usher in spring. A beautiful “Spring Fairy” seems to be dancing in the blooms and bows of this charming wreath.
