College Relations is the public relations/advertising/marketing/special events/media and community relations office for BGSU
Firelands. The Office includes the Director, the Coordinator of Student and Campus Activities, one student employee in Student
and Campus Activities, one full-time Secretary and one full-time and one part-time Switchboard Operator.
Responsibilities include:
- Publicizing and advertising BGSU Firelands
- Working with BGSU Marketing and Communications to develop marketing strategies and advertising campaigns for Registration
periods
- Planning and publicizing special events throughout the year
- Interacting with both the media and local community members, including the BGSU Firelands Advisory Board, to publicize the
College and its faculty, staff, students, events and activities.
