With computer labs all across campus, there’s quick and free access to the Internet, email, “community” software (including word processing), the daily news, electronic discussion groups and even employment/internship opportunities. Technology is an integral part of the 360 Degree education. Our technological resources will give you the experience you need to keep up with advancements in the world and competitors in the workforce.
- BGSU Firelands offers students a wireless environment campus wide. Kiosks and public-access computers located in most campus buildings provide easy Internet access. In addition, there are several on-campus computer labs with a variety of computers and software programs.
- Computers in the Teaching and Learning Center are equipped with software to assist students with learning math, English and a number of other subjects.
- The campus is also equipped for distance learning, so you can join in on classes on BGSU’s main campus. BGSU Firelands, through the Cedar Point Center, is a major interactive distance education and teleconferencing site for the region.

Our close affiliation with BGSU’s main campus also provides options for participating in the wide variety of organizations and activities offered there. - Two dynamic theatre programs provide four major productions each year, as well as a variety of showcase performances.
- Athletes can participate in intramural basketball, flag football, co-ed volleyball, Ping-Pong and pool.
