Firelands Theatre Scholarships

Caryl Crane Scholarships for the Performing Arts:

$1000 awards to full-time students from Erie, Huron, or Ottawa counties who are actively involved in Firelands theatre and enrolled in theatre arts classes.

Harlequins Founders' Theatre Scholarship

$500 award to an outstanding and deserving student who is a theatre major/minor or communications major currently involved with Firelands theatre productions.

Dr. Ronald M. Ruble Theatre Scholarship

This $1,000.00 scholarship award is available to an entering freshman or returning student. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must take at least six hours of course work per semester and at least one hour per semester must be a theatre course. They must also work in the scene shop and on the crews for all the plays of the season. The recipient must maintain a 2.5 GPA. If the recipient is an entering freshman, he or she must have a “C” average in high school. Financial need is a consideration for this scholarship award. Interested students should complete a special application form that is available from the Office of Enrollment Services in the West Building . Applications must be received by September 15 th of each year.
